Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 July 2026

This policy explains how Apex Home Transformations ("we", "us", "our") handles your personal information when you get in touch through this website. We keep it simple: we only use your details to answer your enquiry and give you a quote, and we never sell them to anyone.

Who's responsible for your data

Apex Home Transformations, GU22 7LJ Woking, Surrey.
Email: gfnclaud@gmail.com  ·  Phone: 07512 918722

What we collect

Only what you choose to give us when you make an enquiry, which may include:

We don't ask for anything sensitive, and there's no need to create an account.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and carry out any work you go on to book. The legal basis is your consent when you contact us, and our legitimate interest in responding to potential customers and running the business.

The chat assistant & your photos

The quote chat is powered by an AI service (Groq) that processes your messages to generate a reply. When you send an enquiry or a photo, we're notified by email through a delivery service (Resend) so we can get back to you. These providers only handle your information to make the website work — they don't use it for their own purposes.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep your chat session working while you're on the site. That's it — no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who we share it with

Nobody, beyond the service providers above that we need to run the site and reply to you. We never sell your information or pass it to third parties for marketing.

How long we keep it

Only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows, plus a reasonable period afterwards for our records. After that it's deleted. You can ask us to remove your details sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to how we use it. Just email gfnclaud@gmail.com and we'll sort it. If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we update how we handle your information, we'll post the new version here with a fresh date at the top.
